  • The specific meaning of stainless steel 8K
    Aug 14, 2018

The stainless steel mirror panel polishes the initial surface of BA, 2B or No. 1 to a mirror-like surface (8K mirror or No. 8).

8K mirror definition: The surface of stainless steel is polished and polished, and its surface is bright as a mirror. It looks like objects, and is commonly called 8K. The mirror plate is a substrate for subsequent color or etch plates. It is mainly used in various decorative or metal optical products.

The literal definition of 8K: Corrosion resistance of stainless steel white rigid depends on its alloy composition (chromium, nickel, titanium, silicon, manganese, etc.) and internal structure, in which the decisive role is the chromium element, it can form a passive film on the surface of steel, so that metal and external isolation does not produce oxidation, enhance the corrosion resistance of steel plate.

The "8" in 8K refers to the proportion of alloy components (304 stainless steel mainly refers to the content of nickel), "K" refers to the reflectivity after polishing to achieve the level (K for mirror reflection grade). The 8K mirror is the mirror grade of Cr Ni alloy steel.
